Memorial Day Weekend Fun

Wyatt enjoying an indoor s'more. With the weather so lousy lately, we improvised and used our gas stove top to melt the mallow! Then, our trick is to use a Reeses PB Cup instead of the Hersheys Bar... the pb makes it so much better!
This is a view from the Tattoo Exhibit we attended Sunday night. The tattooes are on soldiers and/or their loved ones. There is a passage telling the story behind each tattoo. The lady who headed this project lost her son in the war. Jake and I both agreed it was a great exhibit and well-worth our time. Wyatt even thanked daddy for taking him to look at pictures!

Mommy and my boys outside of Country's BBQ Downtown after dinner.

It was Boot Night at the Barnoski's Sunday night! Wyatt put his on first, then mommy, and daddy followed. Garett doesn't have any yet but he will and he will join our gang! :)

The Fire Master working the pit. I was nervous the fire wouldn't get going with all of the rain, but the cover on the pit kept most of the wood dry. We didn't have much wood so the fire lasted for just a little while. But it was perfect!
The fire pit was my anniversary present... today is our 7 year anniversary! More about that later.

That's a great idea to use Reese's cups instead of just chocolate. That's awesome you guys got a fire pit. We are looking for one on craigslist. I can't wait to get one! Enjoy yours and wishing you many scrumptious smore's this season!
