Swim Lessons

Wyatt took two weeks of swim lessons recently. The last day was Family Day, where the kiddos completed a quick assessment and then families joined them in the pool.

Garett is taking notes for future lessons!

Wyatt had a hard time sitting on the steps waiting his turn like the other kids.

Finally his turn!! He had to "fly like Superman" with his head under water.

Then he had to "float" on his back.

Yay! He passed the test!

They were also supposed to push off from the wall and glide under water. Not easy for three year olds, but Wyatt was doing his best to be a torpedo.

One of Wyatt's favorite skills he learned during swim lessons was how to go under water and dive for rings. He became really good at it. It's kinda freaky to watch him have his eyes open the whole time under water too. But whatever works for the kiddo! :)
